Writing blessings for over 300 seniors — about 90% Chinese and 10% from other cultural backgrounds — was a truly memorable experience. Reflections
Some residents shared that their late husbands once practiced calligraphy, and watching me write brought back cherished memories. I was deeply touched to see the nurses standing beside residents, moved by how they still recognized and read the characters with such sharpness and lively spirit. Witnessing their joy and engagement in that moment was truly priceless.
